AFSCME Wisconsin Convention 2020 Recap

On May 16, 2020 AFSCME Wisconsin hosted its first virtual convention. Despite COVID-19 concerns, AFSCME members rose to the challenge and engaged in a productive and memorable convention.

If you were able to join us via livestream, thanks for watching. If you missed it, you can watch the entire AFSCME convention on our YouTube channel.

We’d also like to share a report from AFSCME Wisconsin Executive Director Patrick Wycoff, and addresses from AFSCME President Lee Saunders and Governor Tony Evers.

As part of our convention business we passed several amendments to our AFSCME Council 32 constitution. Please note: these amendments are subject to approval from AFSCME International, and have not yet gone into effect.
